GEO audit / AI search visibility
Your prospects now ask their questions to an AI. If those engines' crawlers can't read your site, or your content isn't written to be quoted, a competitor gets cited instead of you. A GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) audit finds what's in the way and gives you a prioritized action plan.
Freelance SEO & AI consultant in France: AI crawlers, llms.txt, Schema.org, citable content.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the set of optimizations that let a website be read, understood and cited by AI answer engines: ChatGPT Search, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot and Google's AI Overviews. Classic SEO aims for a position in a list of links. GEO aims for a mention, with a link, inside the generated answer.
The two go together: an AI engine relies largely on pages it has been able to crawl and index. A site that is technically weak for SEO is weak for GEO too. That's why the GEO audit includes a technical SEO baseline check, and can be combined with a complete SEO audit.
AI visibility audit
Six areas, from the most blocking (AI crawlers can't read the site) to the finest (how each passage is written).
robots.txt directives for GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, Applebot-Extended. Blocking by the CDN or firewall, content that only renders with JavaScript.
Presence, structure and content of llms.txt and llms-full.txt: a Markdown summary of your business, your offers and your key pages that a language model can read directly.
A JSON-LD @graph that connects Organization, Person, Service and WebPage through their @id. E-E-A-T signals: a named author, certifications, sameAs links to official profiles.
Passage-level analysis: direct answers at the top of each section, definitions, sourced figures, FAQs, tables. A citable passage makes sense without the rest of the page.
Indexing, XML sitemap, canonicals, hreflang, Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS). Google's AI Overviews draw on the Google Search index: a page that isn't indexed can't appear in them.
Consistency of your name, business description and contact details across LinkedIn, directories, platforms and third-party sites. Real questions tested in ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity to see who gets cited today.
Process and deliverable
A free diagnostic, an audit, then a plan you apply yourself or that I implement for you.
A 30-minute video call. We look at your site, your offers and the questions your customers ask AI assistants. I tell you what's blocking first and whether a full audit is worth it.
All six areas reviewed, each issue ranked by impact and effort. For every point: what's wrong, why it matters to AI engines, and how to fix it.
The fixes in order, with ready-to-use snippets (robots.txt, llms.txt, JSON-LD). As an option, I implement them directly on your site.

Why OptimyCloud
In Google Search Console, optimycloud.com ranks among the top results for GEO queries phrased by AI assistants, such as searches for an agency that can add llms.txt and ai.txt.
Asked about GEO specialists, Gemini lists OptimyCloud among the companies in the field. The site applies everything the audit checks: AI crawlers allowed, llms.txt, llms-full.txt, a Schema.org @graph.
AWS Solutions Architect certified. I also build AI agents and LLM integrations, so I know how these systems retrieve and select the pages they cite.
SEO optimizes your position in Google's classic results. GEO optimizes your chances of being picked up and cited in answers generated by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or AI Overviews. The foundations are shared (indexing, performance, structured data), but GEO adds AI crawler access, llms.txt files, entity consistency and writing designed to be cited passage by passage.
llms.txt is a convention proposed in 2024, not an official standard: Google has said it doesn't use it for Search or AI Overviews. Some AI tools and agents that browse a site directly do read it, though. It's cheap to set up and gives a reliable summary of your business. In the audit it's one item among others, never the priority if AI crawlers are blocked or the site is poorly indexed. More in the llms.txt guide.
It depends on the number of pages and the scope you choose (GEO only, or GEO combined with a complete SEO audit). The timeline is set in the quote, after the free diagnostic. The effect on AI citations isn't instant: engines have to recrawl the updated pages, and each one does so at its own pace.
The site URL is enough for much of the audit: robots.txt, llms.txt, structured data and content are public. Read access to Google Search Console (and Bing Webmaster Tools if you use it) lets me check indexing and real queries. Google Analytics helps measure traffic coming from AI assistants. Access to the CMS or code repository is only needed for implementation.
Yes, as an option. The report is written so your team can apply it on its own, with the code snippets provided. If you prefer, I make the changes myself: robots.txt, llms.txt and llms-full.txt, JSON-LD, rewriting key passages, technical SEO fixes. That scope is quoted separately.
In 30 minutes, we check whether AI engines can read your site and what to fix first.
